    Very nice. I too have a Damson 71. My AMCO bars were bent along with the bumpers. I found some straight bumpers. Same story. Sat for 20 years. I too will be adding overdrive after having bought a parts car

      Welcome to the pack. As far as the sending unit, you recieved a defective one. The last two that came to me were reading the same as yours. I hear TSI sells a good replacement. I just put the old units back in as they were working fine. You will learn that today's parts on many occasions are questionable.

          You should have a Bentley Manual & Dan Masters Electrical Handbook. Both essential guides.

        I did find the electrical drawing...I also have the 1970 parts car that is complete I can refer to.

          Man, you're flyin'. Keep the pics coming with the progress. Maybe start a new thread under Mechanical showing us the progress as it goes.

            Welcome! This is a great resource and the people here, are as your seeing, are full of great knowledge and are here to help. I found my car from a member here and have gotten a ton of help. Some help saved me money, and other help...well..$$! ..

              Due to the weather getting colder and work getting busy again, I've been on hold. Also as of right now I am working out of a temporary 12 x 20 car tent. Putting up a 30x50 pole barn which will make things a lot easier once it's built. They are telling me 45 to 60 day though.
