    Very nice. I too have a Damson 71. My AMCO bars were bent along with the bumpers. I found some straight bumpers. Same story. Sat for 20 years. I too will be adding overdrive after having bought a parts car

      Welcome to the pack. As far as the sending unit, you recieved a defective one. The last two that came to me were reading the same as yours. I hear TSI sells a good replacement. I just put the old units back in as they were working fine. You will learn that today's parts on many occasions are questionable.

          You should have a Bentley Manual & Dan Masters Electrical Handbook. Both essential guides.

        I did find the electrical drawing...I also have the 1970 parts car that is complete I can refer to.

          Man, you're flyin'. Keep the pics coming with the progress. Maybe start a new thread under Mechanical showing us the progress as it goes.
