  • For Baws- Here are some things I have done to my car

Baws just posted that there hasn't been any activity the last two days. So I will post some pics of things I have done but not posted.

Back in August I put on some 16" Konig rewinds. I got them from Carid I think.

Then I put on a new hood. The old one had been miced. And i think the stripe really sets the car off. This was done by some pros. It is not a project that I would want to do myself. Because they have a steamer to get the wrinkles out. Of course the hose from the steamer touched my seat cover and melted it......... but at least i get a new seat cover.

Before TRials I went after more door rattles. I've done the window channel felt thing, I've added washers here and there to take out rattles then I decided to put velcro fuzz on the opener plunger thingy. I didn;t post this as some miraculously great idea for getting rid of door rattles because it has no effect. The door opener thingy actually rattles around on its own and I see no way of remedying that without putting on a new door latch. Seems to me everything in there rattles. So i put the door card back on. I drive with the music on 12 anyway.

Earlier this year I put on a newly rechromed front bumper. I had my pitted bumpers rechromed when i got the car four years ago. That was coming off already on the front. Sorry, no pics of that.

Looks great Aaron. Is that the car you're bringing next month?

      Cheers,

Those wheels look great! I'd be all over those if mine didn't come with nice chrome wire knock offs.

Nice looking setup you got there. What size tires did you go with?
        Thanks,
