    You would think that for $48K, you would get matching switches and covers on the dash support bolts.

        Not saying it’s not nice. I just would have expected concours for that price. I wish mine was half as clean. With prices like that, I should think about restoring my old jalopy.

          Concours [ winning ] restoration of these can easily run into 6 figures - quite a few owners have spent that much. This reflects the ~1500 hours required ( back in the 1900s I read about a TR6 with 4000 hours in it - spectacular but it was for sale for $25K ).

          This one has some of the better leather seats I've seen ( not the best ).

          For $40K+ I'd choose Dennis Wilson's Royal Blue example for its painted wing bead, original steering wheel and fabulous original dash. Under the hood everything looks like it should too.
