  • How's the Weather ?

I saw on the News tonight that 49 of the 50 States had snow....I wonder if that's really so.
The past 2 nights were cold in Sandy Hook...upper teens, but tonight we're back in the 40's....70's tomorrow.
So how's the weather where you are...if you want to talk about it ?

      Ken,
Just a dusting of snow here in NW Ohio, but the forecast is for a wintery mix tonight changing to rain tomorrow... Temps have been in the single digits for the last week but supposed to get in the upper 40's for the rest of this week.
I like the sound of your weather better !

We (Utah) got down to 2 degrees F the other night, then it swung to 40 degrees and rain, and now it's starting to hail and cool down. Here's a pic from a few days ago.

Been pretty damn cold here, cher.
Forcast for this weekend is...snow, sleet & freezing rain. (the liquid part is supposed to be coming up from your area, then our Canadian friends are sending the cold air and we'll be "stuck" right in the middle.

times like this I'm really glad I work from home :S

          Cheers,

Ya, we got a dusting but spent 3 days below freezing with a low of 11 and wind chill below 0. Supposed to be in the high 60's in 24 hours with rain. Allegedly no more freezing until at least mid next week. Crazy weather, even down here Cher.

Expecting 5 to 10 centimetres tonight, but then warming up to 5C during the week, so most should melt.

Was in Eastern Quebec last week and they have about 2 metres or so so far this year. And nice and cold too.

A symbolic attempt over the last few days to make a notch in the drought here.... B)

Just a good amount to keep you inside and sleep well, but a drop in the bucket overall.

we got 3-4" here in central va on sat. still here. temps down to 1, up to 20. should get warmer.

my sis, in tidewater va got less snow than expected (8"?), but lots of wind (blizzardy).

less snow west of me...drove over the blue ridge this morning...cold (22).

other than main roads, most here are icy...should be fun driving the ambulance tonight trying to get up rural driveways and staying out of ditches.

Blizzard warnings in the Sierras today and tomorrow. Been raining steadily all year so far in the Bay Area.
Funny, I don't remember moving to Seattle?
If I hear another person say "..but we need the rain..." again, I will become violently ill.

Retrieved the TR6 from Her Majesty's service in Rhode Island last Thursday. Shout of thanks to Paul Rego for meeting me at the PVD train station! Excellent day for an Amtrak ride then a Triumph drive - top up of course - and the green monster is now safe in its bed for a long winter's nap. Got new Goodparts rear hubs to go with the trailing arm "camber" kit and new TSI starter i put in a month ago. I want to drive!

Friday we got about 1" of snow. Saturday we got 5" to 6" of snow. Sunday and Monday, night time temperatures near 0 degrees F.

Anxious to do some work on the car but it's too darn cold even with a propane heater. So now every time I go into the garage I look at the Triumph and hope for warmer weather - in the 40s at least so i can do some work - or perhaps 45 to 50 after a good rain storm to clean the roads of salt so I can take a winter drive.

                            Come on spring!

As BAWS notes, NorCal has been getting inundated with precipitation. I am just a stones through away from Folsom lake and seeing the level rise on a daily basis is interesting to say the least! The releases downstream on the American River have certainly displaced a few of the homeless who camp along the river.
