Anyone want to play a little game and guess the hammer price for each of the above?

    Whats your guess?

Neither car has Overdrive. The '72 has hardtop. Neither relay information about the chassis nor rust.

Saffron yellow 1972 $23,000. Being generous here. If actual miles are real. Michelin Redlines- I don't think they are joking.

!975 Green $18,500. The white stripe does it no favors, but the Webers might excite someone. High guestimate because it's B-J Auction.

I'll play. With basically nothing to go on from the pics or descriptions

Does saffron have a convertible top? Great paint but they missed the engine bay. 17,500.00

      Green 16,500.00

I can say this, you can't tell squat from your TV. I thought this dealer stole this car at $10,500.00 Uh, I am a little wrong on that. Pretty paint though https://www.motoexotica.com/inventor...-tr6-roadster/

B - J is an odd place to try and sell a mass market British car. I'll bet either one of these go no higher than $15K.

This is the third year I've lived in the Phoenix area, and it's the third year I've got a trip scheduled during Auction Week Maybe next year.

I'd be surprised if either one goes higher than 12 large. BJ is the last place I would try and sell a TR, plus these 2 will probably be early on in the auction schedule, when there are way fewer serious buyers with big bucks.

I take that back, Mecum is the last place I would try and sell a TR at.

A 1975 sold for $28,600 (+10%) yesterday at Mecum. A friend called me from the auction for some price advice. I told him around $15k. That's why I won't be offering an opinion here.

Yes...more pictures would be much better but at least we are all on the same playing field. I guess I should get my bids in...

I will go $22 300 on the 72 with the hard top and I’ll go with $16 300 on the 75.

                Thanks for playing.

                Keep the guesses coming 😎

Winner gets a bottle of Canadian Maple Syrup from me (pick up at the 2019 TRials.)

                Cheers

Funny as I've lived here for nearly 18 years. I still have no desire to go to BJ. Don't know why... Oh, I know. Its 'cause I'm friggin' broke! I would get too many bad influences there.

I go to Barrett-Jackson pretty much every year. Not only do I enjoy the cars, I find it heart warming. Never have I seen SOOO many wealthy elderly gentlemen spending quality time at the show with their daughters (or grand-daughters). Fantastic they are exposing these young ladies to the car collector hobby.

Ok first of all you guys are funny "weekend rentals" to funny. All go 16,500 on the 72 and 12.500 on 75. Just do not think there we be much action at B-J on these vehicles.

What's the pink/red stuff on the saffron car just above the rockers on both sides? I'll go $17k for that one and $15K for the green one.
