  • BCCGC at the Cavalcade of Customs

The British Car Club of Greater Cincinnati (https://www.bccgc.com/) annually displays at the Cavalcade of Customs. The Cavalcade has been going on here in Cincinnati for over 35 years. I went to it when I was a wee one with my old man. It does seem odd to put 12 British cars in with all of the customs, but over the years it seems that the show has evolved into an indoor car show of all types. By all types I mean Rat Rods, dragsters, muscle cars, low riders, trucks, exotics, drifters and motorcycles. There is something for everybody and this year there is even a display of racing lawnmowers.

The first day of set up was yesterday and so I left work to get my wife's TR3 in the show. Yesterday was 25 degrees and I am happy to say it fired right up. Fellow 6-Packer Jim VAn Order restored the car. Jim, If you are reading this, you did a great job!

Here's a short video of the drive on the highway. I took it to show that it was snowing. Inside the car. I can't see it on the phone but maybe it shows up on a computer screen. edit: Apparently not

Here is the TR3. How did I get the picture with me in it? TR250 Todd was walking by on his way to his TRiumph's Anonymous meeting and saw me. Seems he can smell a Triumph at 1/2 mile

For some reason known only to the organizers, move in is over two days and they let 3 cars in at a time. I waited in line in the street for 90 minutes.

Huh? Is this thing on? The topic isn't showing up in the list, but it has a like and you can find it in the search just using "BCCGC." Weird.

Yep, I will be there after 1 or so on Saturday. Later on Sunday. You should join, Steve. We don't have a 6 down there this year..... And it's a blast driving home at night when it's 10 degrees out, there's 6 inches of snow and you hope your gas gauge reads correctly since you have to have less than 1/4 tank of gas to get in. Fun times.
