What are the donor cars that I need to be looking for to salvage an R200 diff. Richard Good use to have the list on his website but I do not see it on the new site.

Tom, and Bobby D, here are some notes I had in my files on the R200 diff.
R200 VLSD diffs...( it's important your get the short nosed ones if possible, vbut the long nose will work if you have a lift) Also, you may want to check with Richard to make sure he still has 6 bolt axle flanges in stock, meaning we were limited to only 5 bolt flanges .
1991-1996 Infinity Q45 had both 5 and 6 bolt axle flanges, with the 6 bolt being more common these years....3.45 to 1 gear ( early years had finned cover, later years smooth cover)
1997-2001 Infinity Q45 had 5 bolt, almost all had smooth covers 3.69 to 1 gear
1990-1996 300ZX Non-turbo, early finned, later smooth, 4.08 to 1 gear...( short nosed up to about 96, later years had long nose ( about 3/4")….years go to about 2001.
On all diffs, anti-lock brake is what works best, these being the short nose without the sensor in the nose
By the way, if your looking for diffs at salvage yards, keep your eyes open for 1976-1983 Nissan 280 Z or ZX 5 speeds, used in MG conversions...( also, '72-76 B210 5 sp. and Datsun 79-82 210
( I won't get into the Toyota Tranny Quest at this time, ha)

Tom, I hope this helps a little. Please check before ordering of course.
