  • Frame's Back From PC'ing

Dee went on a business trip and brought back her version of a "6-Pack" shirt for me. Next are the reinforcement pics followed by the finished powder coated pics. Not my best welds, but they'll hold.

            What did you inside?

I did the Eastwood internal chassis coating.

Awesome looking Kevin. Its like you have a brand spanking new foundation for you to start building on. Can't wait to see the progress. Drive it to the Mitty in 2 years?

Yup, I also used the Eastwood internal frame coating (black), With plenty of ventilation of course.

A couple of simple tips.....wrap the hose around a length of wire (I used aluminum tig wire) and it helps to focus the spray tip as you push it into the frame holes.
Also, it's a good idea to tape over any unused frame holes while doing the internal rust spray operation...otherwise, that shit goes EVERYWHERE

And it really stinks. Is it toxic? If you can't pronounce the names on the label, yes.

I used one full can per side of the frame rails, but two per side would give better coverage.
