  • Rapid Indicator Flash

I found many posts from the past on this. All that I have seen point to bad bulb and/or ground.
For my 75 car, all bulbs are new and all sockets that flash have been removed and”cleaned up”. I also sought out and cleaned up the grounds in the various areas around the car. An interesting observation is that I have witnessed the flash slow down on 2 separate occasions; both times the engine was not running, but the key was in the ON position. I cannot recreate this since last time I observed this.
Can this simply be a failing flasher?
I will eventually change out flashing incandescent bulbs to LED. Can I use an electronic flasher with the incandescents until I do the LED switch, if I need to replace flasher at this time?
I bought the car with the rapid flash condition in January.
    Thanks!

An electronic flasher should work fine with incandescent bulbs.

Thanks, Derek. I have one on the way!
See what happens. If nothing else I will be one step closer to LED directionals.

Resolved with electronic flasher from Moss. It provides a nice audible click sound when flashing: Bonus!

      Ron,

Do you have the Moss part number handy? I might get one.

      Thx
