    where to buy new rear lights socket with ground built in. I don't want to make them.

    There was a guy on eBay selling them but he disappeared a few years ago and haven't seen replacement ones since..
    1975 Mimosa with a few upgrades/mods:

      One solution, albeit expensive, is to purchase the printed circuit board LED’s from Spokeworks, they plug directly into the wiring harness and dispense with the bulb holders.

        New sockets should have a ground function. But, that doesn't mean one doesn't need to do extra work to make sure they will work on your car...ask me how I know, better yet don't ask

          I did a pretty exhaustive search a few years ago for sockets with a better ground. A few false leads, but no results. Maybe something has changed.

            I purchased new light sockets from Moss and soldered ground tabs to the housings.
            1970ish CC54713L
