  • Rear turn signals

I bought this TR6 last fall and have been in the process of getting it sorted out with hopes of attending TRials 2019.

Just a few more bugs to work through and hoping that this is a simple issue.....

I have no positive 12 volt power to the rear turn signals. I have overhauled the bulb sockets and added a ground wire that is attached directly to the copper colored ground strap that touches the base of the bulbs. Grounding is not an issue in this case. I am not getting the signal for either the right or left bulbs.

I would guess that I could have a broken/cut wire someplace, but other than that, is there another place I should look before I go digging though the wire harness ?

The front turn signals work great. Just the rears that are not working.

    Thanks !

Your main harness should have a connector up by your left foot. You can always check it there & then work back to the back or perhaps forwards?

Thanks tr250. Is the connector behind the left kick panel or up under the dash ?

The connector is behind the left kick panel. The front side of the connector will have two wires on each turn signal pin (green/red for left and green/white for right). One wire is coming from the turn signal switch and the other continues on to the front turn signal bulbs. If the front turn signals are working, you will have power at the front of the connector.
