I converted mine to a tab mount and I'll see if I can get it mounted up on the badge bar and snap a few Keith.

Damson looks like you did the same thing I did (with one exception) and the same thing Kevin (wolf) was considering. I tried a variety of ways to mount the badge on the grill but the back of the grill is simply not flat enough for the bolts except on the center bar.

I drilled 2 small holes in the center bar and slid the thread rods attached to the badge through there. I then put the nuts on the rods and tightened them against the back of the center bar.

Now a bit of backstory behind my experience that just ended 5 minutes ago.

Last weekend I took out the radiator shroud and started fiddling around trying to mount the badge. Tried a variety of ideas over the course of the week but, as I said, none of them worked. Today was a particularly irritating day of work so I knocked off early and decided to get the badge mounted once and for all. My brain was scrambled anyway so why not do something relaxing?

I drilled the holes, applied loctite to make sure the threaded rods don't back out, tightened up the nuts against the rear of the center bar and proceeded to put the radiator shroud and the supports above it back on. With the engine bay all buttoned up I wiped everything down so it looked pretty and dropped the bonnet.

Walked around the front of the car to view my work one last time before leaving the garage and...true to form today...I put the @%$# badge on upside down !!!!!

I very calmly put my tools away, shut off the lights and walked out of the garage.

              Grumble grumble grumble

                Oh, that's funny.
You should leave it like that (for awhile) & collect comments from everybody/anybody that sees it.

"Oh yeah, thanks for pointing that out."

That is awesome Phil 😂. Look at it this way, you have another project for tomorrow night. Yeah, I could only come up with mounting it this way. Bruce, great job. I love the nose of your car. Wherever you put it boys, it is going to be the nicest piece of jewelry your car will ever wear. Thanks again Kevin.

Bump. We still have a few badges left, so if you want one, better act quickly. If there are any remaining, they will be sold at TRials.

                    Cheers,
