I started stripping the hood yesterday and it is a tough go. Very little rust but the paint and primer are thick. 4 Quarter panels, 2 Doors and the trunk lid are stripped and ready to be sealed. After dealing with some minor dings I hope to have all of it in color and clear by the end of July!

Your a braver man than I Anthony. The inside of the hood is something I will farm out on my 250 project. Just too difficult to get into all the nooks and crannies. Just epoxied my drivers side front and rear fender this morning...drivers door next.

Keep up up the good work.

    Cheers,
    Tush

Thanks Tush, paint is $$$$$ so I,m in it to win it as they say. If it's screwed up I can only blame myself.

        What Tush said.
I have that same Eastwood tool for stripping. It's a real time saver.

        Cheers,

That tool is great for anything that is mostly flat and you can usually work the roller into some fairly tight spaces. I have used the stripping roller for all of the exterior panels and it still has some life in it for about $60 for the roller. The motor is strong and no matter how much I get on it it does not bog down.

Carpet set is here and I just place an order with Mr. Mike. The last of the body panels will be in high build primer by Saturday.

Mr.Mike has delivered. I did them over the weekend, about 8 hours of total work. Interesting addition to the backrest that I found in the drivers seat. Very happy with them.
