  • Picture Posting Question

    With the old site you could insert a picture or a series of pictures into the post with comments above/below the image. Maybe I haven't figured it out yet but it seems I can only insert a thumbnail which then opens in a new window with no comments..... am I missing something?

        I also have the ability to add comments or description or whatever text to a picture.
        have you noticed or is it just me, that when you "edit" a post that has a picture you have the ability to change the picture size or rather ADD a larger picture of the original picture?
        I'll demonstrate.
        This is the original...next will be the original picture and the edited enlarged....but so far I haven't figured how to place the edited enlarged version within the framework of the post.

            I only add pictures by hitting the clipboard icon on the upper right hand side of these "dialog boxes" that we type in.

            Place the cursor where I want the picture..

            Then i get a upload attachments icon on the lower left hand side below this dialog box

            Click it

            find the image on my computer that is under 2 Mega bytes

            click it

            Pick the size I want

            Then hit upload attachment

            Click image for larger version Name:	Webp.net-resizeimage (29).jpg Views:	1 Size:	195.4 KB ID:	511428

            I don't know about posting urls

              Bobby: "... can only insert a thumbnail..."

              Here's how to insert larger pic:

              Upper right corner, click underlined A;
              Icons across top appear- click the 'two mountain peaks' icon;
              Image Properties screen appears- click 'Upload';
              Next screen- click 'Browse'- takes you to your pictures file- double left click to select image that you want to appear;
              Next screen- click 'Send it to the Server';
              Next screen- click green 'OK';
              Picture appears full size in your message- you have option to select size & add text.
              Lastly- click 'Post Reply'.
