The first issue of 2010 is off to the printers. It's the real first of the new larger issues (unlike my mistaken prop for the last of 2009), and Fid's pulled off another great issue. Become a member, read the magazine. It's that simple!

Inside this issue:
A Rosey Year
Bill Pugh recounts a busy year with Casper
The Alexis M
Len Renkenberger talks about the creation of his one of a kind TR
The hardtop
Derek graham starts the first of a two part history lesson. He opens with the factory hardtop.
Unblock your drains
Tom Chimenti talks about that all important scuttle vent.

There's a lot in this magazine - I didn't have room to even detail it all. You deserve to read it in full, so consider becoming a member to see it all.

We realize that it's hard to make a commitment to spend money when you don't know what you are getting. In a blatant bid to get your money, we decided to make available a copy of one of the old issues - the second one of 2009, so you can see one of the extra benefits that membership provides.
You can see it here
We hope that you enjoy it and agree that the cost of membership - which is very reasonable compared to other clubs - and a part of which subsidizes this website, is worth the outlay to allow the club to continue to function.
Enjoy.

Effective immediately
The price of membership has been increased by $5 to $30 annually for US residents, and $35 for the rest of the world.
It's never a popular choice to implement an increase - especially in the current economy - but there's no way to get around it.
The cost of producing and distributing the magazine has increased considerably since the last rate hike (more than ten years ago). The club has been losing money on this for a while now, and we need to maintain a sound financial footing if we are to remain viable.
When we put it to those members present at the TRials membership meeting, the vote was unanimous in favor of a rate increase. We've kept it to the minimum that will keep us solvent, and we believe that this, with some cost reduction measures will suffice for at least the next couple of years unless external factors mean that we have to revisit the issue.
We still feel that the cost is extremely competitive when compared to other car clubs, expecially given the benefits we offer, and we are all committed to maintaining or improving the club to the best of our ability.
